Engineer
HEAVY WEAPONS, TURRET SUPPORT
The Engineer specializes in Heavy Weaponry which can be carried or placed in turret mode.

The Engineer is an unlockable Archetype. They are durable and capable of placing turrets that fire at nearby enemies which can also be detached and wielded as a weapon. Different types of turrets can be placed or wielded, though only one at a time, with unique firing styles and uses. The Engineer is an excellent defensive Archetype, making use of heavy armor and passive damage reduction. They begin with a set of heavy armor, along with highly engineered weapons.

Their unique Archetype trait is Fortify which makes increases to armor more effective. Their Prime Perk, High Tech, allows the Engineer to overclock, temporarily increasing their turret's firing capabilities (held or placed).

Traits[edit | edit source]

Archetype Trait[edit | edit source]

Fortify is the Engineer's Archetype trait.

Increases Armor Effectiveness by 5 - 50%.

Core Trait Allocation[edit | edit source]

Acquisition[edit | edit source]

Obtaining the Drzyr Caliper[edit | edit source]

  • While on N'Erud, walk along the edges of the second map and try to find the following specific formation.
  • TBD: IMAGE
    • Look for one tall spike beside a noticeable gap between itself and a tall elevation to your left.
    • On that elevation should be a few more spikes.
  • Once entered, you will accumulate blight and vomit every now and then. Once the blight bar is filled, your character will die.
  • As you enter, jump over the first gap to collect the Technician set.
  • Turn to your left and jump down for the Alien Device.
  • Craft this into the Drzyr Caliper at Wallace in Ward 13.

Avoiding death from the fog[edit | edit source]

  • Once the items are obtained, you may exit to the Main Menu, though it is possible to make it back safely otherwise.
  • While still under a death timer, the vomit animation can be bypassed with dodge rolls. It is highly recommended to build accordingly.
    • Light weight for fast dodges and low stamina cost
    • The Fitness and Swiftness traits are very helpful, if not necessary to make it back out.
    • The Explorer skill Plainswalker will increase movement speed and reduce stamina costs. Use it before entering.
    • The Invader skill Worm Hole is not recommended as it will likely cause a vomit animation, but can be used to cross gaps.

Update History[edit | edit source]
