The Invader is an unlockable Archetype highly skilled in evasive movement and burst attacks. They make use of distractions while dealing damage in the form of decoys, or even another player, while evading the damage directed toward them. Their starting armor includes what appears to be light camouflage as a root enemy, as well as weapons capable of delivering high burst damage.
Their unique Archetype trait is Untouchable, which upgrades the traveler's ability to evade, and their Prime Perk Shadow leaves behind a decoy when Invader skills are used.

5 | Warps the caster forward through space-time. Their next Melee or Ranged attack within 5s will deal 300% increased damage. Counts as a Perfect Dodge. Holding the Skill button will show the targeting device. If an enemy is directly targeted, the caster will emerge behind them. |

10 | Initiates a Data Backup of the caster's current Health, Stamina, Relic Charges, Ammo, and Negative Status Effects, which are stored for 30s. While the Backup is active, increases Movement Speed by 15% and Damage Reduction by 10%. Reactivating the Skill restores all saved values from the Backup and spawns a Decoy which lasts 3s. |

Unlocking[edit | edit source]
To unlock the Invader, Travelers will have to visit the Walker's Dream and defeat the aberration within.
- Travelers will first need the Dreamcatcher, which can be acquired by feeding the Nightweaver Stone Doll to the Nightweaver's Web after defeating Nightweaver.
- With the Dreamcatcher equipped, head to Root Earth and travel to the marked spot. There, a dead walker with Escalation Protocol in it can be found and will also be surrounded by blue mist.
- Swing at the blue mist with Dreamcatcher equipped. A special animation will play instead, and the Traveler will receive Walker's Dream.
- Assign the item to a button. On use, the Traveler will be transported into the Dream.
- Defeat Bane within the dream, which grants Wooden Shiv.
- Craft Serrated Root Blade at Wallace in Ward 13
