An exceptionally powerful single-shot weapon that deals bonus stagger damage. Must reload after each round fired.
Spore Shot
Fires a rotten spore that releases a specialized gas cloud over 6m. Applies SLOW to enemies while dealing 15 - 45 damage per second for 7s. Grants HASTE+7% speed to the following actions:

Using consumables
Melee attacks
Mod casts
Skill casts
Charging weapons (bows, fusion rifles)
Firing weapons
Reloading weapons
Swapping weapons
Environmental traversal (vaulting, climbing, wading)
Movement (walking, sprinting, crouching)
Movement while aiming
to allies, which lasts 5s after leaving the cloud.

Forged from a chilling combination of man's tools and the Root's raw essence, this is a weapon that invokes both awe and terror in equal measure.

  • A fully-upgraded Sporebloom has the highest single-shot damage of any weapon in the game.
  • Spore Shot is affected by the Amplitude Trait.

Acquisition[edit | edit source]

Update History[edit | edit source]

  • Increased fire rate to 1.95 (was 1.55).
  • Reduced falloff range to 25m (was 30m).
  • Spore Shot no longer deals explosive damage.
  • Spore Shot cloud now applies HASTE to allies.
    • Behavior against enemies is unchanged.
  • Spore Shot cloud no longer deals damage to allies.
  • Reduced Spore Shot charges to 1 (was 2).
