Notes[edit | edit source]
- Generates ammo from thin air instead of pulling from reserves.
- Ammo generated by Bandit (Mutator) is not restricted from activating the mutator again.
- Explosives like the Meridian and Corrupted Meridian handguns can trigger Bandit (Mutator) without directly impacting the target.
- However, hitting multiple enemies with a single explosion cannot trigger Bandit (Mutator) multiple times.
- When equipped on Crescent Moon, Sagittarius, Royal Hunting Bow, Crossbow or Trinity Crossbow, Bandit has a unique effect. It shares this effect with Transpose and Extender.
- As bows do not have magazines, they instead gain ammo to their reserves.
Weapon Interactions[edit | edit source]
- Anguish: Cannot trigger Bandit (Mutator) on explosions from charged shots, only direct impact.
- Aphelion: Can trigger Bandit (Mutator) multiple times per shot by piercing multiple enemies.
- Corrupted Aphelion: Unlike normal Aphelion, piercing multiple targets with a single shot cannot trigger Bandit (Mutator) multiple times. Limited to one activation per shot, despite showing 3 damage numbers.
- Cube Gun: Bandit (Mutator) triggers on projectile impact, allowing the player to have over 5 projectiles in flight at once. However, any extra projectiles cannot overfill the magazine upon returning.
- Deceit: Limited to one activation per shot, despite showing 2 damage numbers.
- Sorrow: Bolts overfilled past the normal magazine size add the ammo from Bandit (Mutator) to reserves instead of returning them to the magazine. Bandit (Mutator) can only return ammo directly to the magazine while below the normal magazine capacity.
- Star Shot: Limited to one activation per shot, despite showing 2 damage numbers.
- Twisted Arbalest: Each bounce can trigger Bandit (Mutator). However, being single-shot means you will often end up reloading before it triggers unless you swap weapons as the disk is in flight.
- Corrupted Arbalest: Each bounce can trigger Bandit (Mutator). When its Guardian's Fury mod is active, each explosion can also trigger Bandit (Mutator) separately.
- Sparkfire, Nebula, and Enigma: status damage ticks applied by the primary fire of these weapons can trigger Bandit (Mutator). Interestingly, Hellfire burn ticks cannot.
