Aberration Domination

Aberration Domination is a series of events in Remnant 2. The first event was Halloween-themed and ran from October 27 to October 31, 2023. The event added new roaming Aberrations to Losomn, N'Erud, and Yaesha that drop a new resource, Corrupted Shards. These Shards can be exchanged with Dwell to craft 5 Corrupted Weapons.

The event also added 12 new Mutators and 5 new Affixes for Aberrations.

The second event coincided with a balance patch and ran from February 29 to March 5, 2024 and added 5 more Corrupted Weapons.

All Corrupted weapons and Mutators can still be obtained and the new Aberrations still spawn outside of the event. The player can only hold a maximum of 10 Corrupted Shards at a time.

During the events, any tiles that can spawn an elite enemy had a 100% chance to spawn one of these new Aberrations . Following the first event, the chances were decreased to 5% on Survivor, 10% on Veteran, 15% on Nightmare, and 25% on Apocalypse and have since been changed further.

Weapons

The original version of each weapon is required to craft the Corrupted version. The originals can be reacquired and the player can have both versions.
