The hooded mask wreathes you in a vicious, fiery visage that evokes both fear and admiration. The incandescent eye slits color your vision with hues of hellfire.

“The prince's mother is always depicted with her face veiled by a mask. Some claim the mask concealed harrowing battle scars, or perhaps preserved an impossibly beautiful and delicate visage. Of course, I know the truth of the matter: that the king would not dare permit his consort to ever reveal her face, not even to her son—who now obscures his own in precisely the same manner.”

Acquisition

• Acquired after completing the Succession event.

Succcession

To begin the Succession event, you will need access to the following areas. These can be re-rolled through the new Adventure Mode in the Forlorn Coast.

• Losomn, Gilded Chambers.
• Losomn, Chamber of the Faithless.

Steps to Complete

1. Travel to the Gilded Chambers and acquire three Crimson King Coins. They drop from Fae Golden Knights.
2. When confronted by the Red Prince, pay tribute. Do not initiate combat.
3. Travel to the Chamber of the Faithless and defeat The One True King.
4. Reload the area. The Red Prince will appear in the throne room. Talk to him to receive the armor set.
