Root Flyer is a returning enemy from Remanant: From the Ashes.

Behavior

The Root Flyer will initially keep at range, periodically spitting a projectile with slight homing capabilities. In melee range, they will repeatedly swipe at the Traveler with either claw.

At some point, it may decide to rush at them, slashing with both of their arms. This has the potential to trigger a grab attack, forcing the Traveler into a quick time event. Failing to defend against it results in a guaranteed ROOT ROT effect, but fighitng it off lets the Traveler crush its head, instantly killing it.
