- Base damage accounts for an attack's Motion Value and uses the weapon's +0 damage value. For example, the Iron Greatsword deals 105 base damage with its first basic melee attack, and 178.5 base damage with its first charged melee attack. Melee Damage bonuses, critical hits, and weakspot hits will not increase base damage.
