Lore: Alepsis-Taura
Alepsis Taura, The Seat of creation, Curatu-Seltis. These are all names given to the supermassive black hole lying at the center of the Drzyr universe.
“There is no power source in the universe greater than that of Alepsis-Taura. A normal black hole produces so much dark energy that it can sustain its own existence, but Alepsis-Taura produces enough energy to sustain both itself, N'Erud, and all the stars in the universe a trillion times over.”
After searching for life for millennia with no luck, the Drzyr find this impossibly large singularity and decide to study it further. Perhaps in response to their failure to find other species, the majority of the Drzyr decide that if a creator exists, it must exist inside the black hole. Despite the warnings from the Seeker Tal'ratha and a full on civil war from the 1st Custodian,the population decided their only option was to enter the black hole. Nothing could have prepared them for the entropic forces at play and despite their best efforts all were lost except for Tal'ratha (who had constructed a chamber with added protection) and the Custodian.
