- Used to craft the Tome of the Bringer and unlock the Summoner Archetype.
Acquisition[edit | edit source]
- Crafted from the Bloodmoon Altar in Jungles of Yaesha for
15, 
5, and 
1,500.[1]
- In order to obtain Blood Moon Essence, Yaesha must be bathed in the crimson light of a Blood Moon. In these conditions, Bloodmoon Wisps will spawn outdoors. Each Bloodmoon Wisp killed will award one Blood Moon Essence.
- The Bloodmoon Altar can be found in Jungles of Yaesha. It is marked by a blue icon on the map.
