The Root Zombie Exploder can be found standing motionless in Undead Tombs. Once alerted, they will slowly approach the Traveler, exploding into a slowing cloud of ROOT ROT spores. In the midst of combat, one may instead decide to sprint, leaping at the Traveler to detonate. Even in crowds this can be noticed by their loud gurgling. They can easily break parts of surrounding Root Zombies, giving larger groups quick access to their enhancements. The Exploder's own legs can also be broken, causing it to fall to the ground. Unlike its kin it is barely able to crawl in this state, detonating after a short time.
