Root Mantis (Boss)

The Root Mantis is encountered at the end of the tutorial, found in the depths of the Root growth in Eastport. Though the Root is fading, it is a quite formidable creature, but the Traveler has combat assistance from Cass, Clementine and Bo and will be infinitely revived by them.
Its long arms afford it considerable reach; but also agility, being able to hook its claws into the ground to pivot into new positions.
One of its attacks has it charge towards a target, clawing the ground in front of it and knocking over anyone hit.
At close range, it has access to a three hit combo, twice striking with a larger arm, before doing a quick lunge with its smaller limbs.
One of its two heavy melee is an overhead slam, the other is a sweeping cross slash.
Every now and then it will throw blades from its smaller limbs. One variant has it remain stationary, while the other has it pull back first. Both versions can occur one after the other.
