Lore: Pillar Hall Note

Found in the Pillar Hall.

These halls were meant to serve as a sacred place, a sanctum to reflect and honor the wisdoms of our ancestors, the One of Many, and old, forgotten gods. Now I find it lined with graven images, hollow statues built in worship of ourselves. Once we enshrined only those Pan worthy of admiration so that their descendants might learn of their deeds and reflect.

To shape the stones in our own likeness is hubris. If I am alone in saying this, so be it. These grotesque statues are an insult to what it means to be alive. To be Pan. Had I the strength of body, I would tear down these false idols myself.
