An old hand-crank flashlight with some peculiar scuff marks. If it could speak, you have a feeling it would have no shortage of stories to tell.“I've seen a fair number of worlds in my time, and there's one thing they all have in common- sometimes it only takes the smallest flicker of light to bring hope to the darkest times.”
Uses[edit | edit source]
- Emits a cone of light from the Traveler's chest. Can be toggled on and off with the L key.
- Hides the key for the cargo bay in Ward 13.
- Inspecting the base of the flashlight reveals a code scratched into the bottom. This is the combination for the chest in Ford's quarters.
Acquisition[edit | edit source]
- Given to the Traveler by Ford while exploring the Old Ward.
- Travelers that choose to skip the tutorial will automatically acquire the Flashlight at the start of the game.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Whereas most Quest Items are bound to a specific Campaign or Adventure, the Flashlight persists through rerolls.
