Medicine Women and priests. While they were originally the ones who read the Balance, they eventually displaced the Vaunnt from their role as priests of the One Who is Many. The Red Widows were also part of the group that made the initial pilgrimage to the Thaen, and as such most of them are immortal.

The original priests of the One Who is Many. They are still at a reasonably high social status, but they aren't as venerated as they used to be.

** Larger servants, these are the bulkier Pan who frequently act as foot soldiers.

** Immortals, composed of the original Red Widows who followed Jinas when she discovered the Thaen Tree.

Also called "Radiant Ones", these are the wizards and magic users of the Pan. For the most part they use the lightning magic gained from crystals.

** Take care of burial and internment. During Remnant: From the Ashes, they are seeking a way to use the crystals found on Yaesha to resurrect the dead. In Remnant 2 they have turned away from the crystals and towards the Root and the Ravager as a possible source of immortality.
Keepers of the dead. Over time they have turned towards trying to resurrect the dead as well.
* Ahanae
 
** Wizards and mystics, they use crystals to cast lightning magic.
===Gul===
These are the bulkier Pan we see, and are often used as shock troops. They the enslaved caste and are generally not considered to be very smart. It's this caste that was a major part of the rebellion.
