Summoner Minions absorb 1 - 10% of damage taken by the caster.

Blood Bond is an unlockable trait that allows summons to take a portion of damage taken by the summoner.

  • This effect includes Handler and Engineer archetype summons.
  • Blood Bond can be used as another layer of damage reduction, bypassing the damage reduction limit
    • Taking 50 damage with 80% damage reduction and 10% damage absorbed from Blood Bond results in: 50 * 0.2 * 0.9 = 9 damage taken, making the effective damage reduction 82%
  • Damage is divided evenly between summons, meaning two summons with a max level Blood Bond will individually take 5% damage adding up to 10%.
